IN A NUTSHELL 

Reporting to the Accounting, Control & Treasury Director, this newly established role offers a great opportunity for a finance professional with expertise in systems, particularly NetSuite, to share and lead transformative changes within the Finance function. The role is central to driving efficiency, strengthening controls, and enhancing reporting capabilities, while also collaborating with cross-functional project teams to deliver ERP-related objectives effectively.

As a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual, you will champion continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring the maintenance of accurate and reliable financial records. You will also stay current with ERP out-of-the-box functionalities to further optimise our financial reporting and operational performance.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 

Financial Process Management

• Collaborate with Finance department functional leads to document existing processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency gains.

• Actively manage finance systems to ensure optimum value from third-party solutions aligned with departments requirements.

• Lead the implementation of finance-specific software solutions, ensuring thorough discovery, scoping, and testing are conducted.

• Oversee change management initiative to ensure smooth adoption of system enhancements across the Finance team.

• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure team members effectively utilise ERP tools and adapt to new processes.

Financial Reporting

• Prioritise Finance as the primary customer, delivering high-quality data and reports where required.

• Deliver actionable insights through dashboard views and automated reporting, enabling quick and valuable decision-making.

• Provide financial data to broader stakeholders to improve their understanding of process impacts on financial performance.

Project Delivery

• Lead testing and validation of ERP changes to ensure compliance with UK Gaap Financial standards and VAT requirements.

• Lead the Finance elements of project implementation, ensuring alignment with objectives and timely delivery of key milestones.

• Maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with departmental needs and service excellence.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Proven experience with finance systems (bonus points for NetSuite!).
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
• An analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
• Background in e-commerce and/or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to lead process improvements and drive change.
• Highly organised and able to juggle tight deadlines.

LOCATION: London HQ (with occasional travel to Colchester, when required)
HYBRID: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
