Inventory procurement and management is at the heart of everything we do and we’re looking for an passionate, driven and data savvy individual to join Team bulk™ as Senior Inventory Planner in a newly formed team. 

This data-enabled team will control our stock planning, purchasing, stock cover management and website product availability whilst operating within the budgeted stock level.

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, ambitious, team player to join the business and work as part of a high performance team managing our stock throughput, cover levels and purchase order management. 

You will work with the Head of Inventory Planning & Procurement and Inventory Planning Manager to maintain and drive the stock forecast, ensuring we have the correct levels of third party stock and sundries available for sale in all locations at all times.

You will work closely with the other Inventory Planners and Coordinators, as well as Production, Commercial Finance and Warehouse teams to ensure we achieve high, consistent availability and an efficient product catalogue.

What will you be doing?

• Develop & Maintain Short, Medium & Long term Demand Plan for Finished Goods, working in line with the financial KPIs, SMI budgets and promotional plans.
• Anticipate forecast change impacts on supply (short/medium term) and proactively communicate forecast changes/risks to Production Planning and other cross functional teams.
• Partner with Production Planning team to review Demand Plan and resulting output to deliver on our Inventory cover targets.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities, providing deep dive analytics and scenario planning as required and support the 'fill the gap' mindset.
• Managing availability and stock levels/cover throughout the season for all production locations, identifying and handling gaps between forecasts, trading actuals and production planning requirements.
• Drive Continuous improvement processes and projects in partnership with the Inventory Planning Manager including Forecasting techniques, Planning tool developments and enhancements etc.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model with updated sales / marketing assumptions for a rolling 6 month planning horizon.
• Prepare & present reporting on KPIs for weekly & monthly Inventory/SMI meetings complete with proactive recommendations on actions to be taken to mitigate any risk to supply.
• Using reporting tools to analyse and understand performance and opportunities.
• Analysing past sales figures & trends to anticipate future demand.
• Maintaining Aged stock levels to a minimum by highlighting slow sellers/at risk stock on time so stock is not written off.
• Support Procurement Manager on pricing and supply chain challenges as they emerge.
• Other ad-hoc projects and analysis as directed by the Head of Inventory Planning & Procurement or Inventory Planning Manager.

• IT Skills - high levels of proficiency in MS Office and GSuite.

Hybrid Working Model: 3 days (in office) + 2 days (working from home)
